Overview

The local Pokot community started the Kaptuya Conservancy as a conservation effort to safeguard the local animals and natural resources. Through eco-tourism and wildlife management, the conservancy seeks to advance biodiversity preservation, community growth, and sustainable livelihoods.ies.

Tour Highlights

• Wildlife: Several different antelope species, as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and hyenas, can be found inside the conservancy.
