Overview

In the Indian Ocean, close to the Kenyan coast, sits the Mombasa Marine National Park & Reserve. It is close to Mombasa and has a variety of maritime environments, including as coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove forests. In order to preserve and safeguard the maritime habitat and the wildlife that it supports, the park was created in 1986.

The Mombasa Marine National Park & Reserve, which has an area of around 10 square kilometers (3.9 square miles), is well-known for its beautiful underwater environment and a variety of marine species. The park is home to more than 200 different fish species, 50 different coral types, and a wide range of other marine animals like sea turtles, dolphins, and crustaceans.
